Lovely portrait, Irene. I like the results of the desaturation. I see good natured humor in his face. For some reason I thought this would turn out to be a self-portrait!
One of my top favorites in this challenge. The lighting on the face appeals to me, good sharpness, depth of field and focus as well, brings out the facial details.
I love the PP here, the desaturate works perfect, and his eyes pop up like knives telling you a lot of things about his personality. One can not stop looking into his eyes...so well done, one of my favorites. But then again, what else can you expect from this AMAZING photographer. Keep winning your well deserved ribbons.

Great lighting and all the technicals are solid - a little hot on the end of the nose, but overall well done. And he does come across as a nice guy in this.
