I haven't visited DPC for a while, but seeing this in the weekly update was enough to make me come and have a proper look. No disrespect to the myriad of other talented DPC members, but this has got to be the best shot I've seen in ages. It totally blew me away. You should be proud.

Congrats on a perfectly-named, well-executed shot! :) I like how you captured her pronunciation, too. We still remember fondly when my daughter talked about having lellow bananas for yunch, and my other daughter proudly announced "I did it all my byself!"

Don't let my girls see this! Love the height she got, the red is so vibrant and beautiful, and that smile... seals the deal.

HAH! This is FANTASTIC! Definitely my favorite child shot so far. The distance between her and the bed really makes the shot, and I especially love the bright red of her dress against the subtle whites of the background. You may have wanted to go through and cloned out the halo from sharpening, but this is so fun I didn't even notice it at first.
Post actions
Awesome idea! I love the splash of colour with the neutral tones. :) 8

How can you not love a well executed shot of a kid having fun. The DOF is excellent here, and your surrounding scene couldn't be better.
