Needs better focus and clarity. Maybe if you had gotten back a little further and gotten the whole glass in it would have improved the focus and the croppiing.
Perhaps a better shot would have been a close up of just the glass, and not the stem and background. Sharper would have definately been nice. I think grayscale works for this photo.
The picture is so good that I want to understand the title. Excellent composition: black-grey lines lead to base of glass highligts and details ( the focal center), pen also leads to the bottom of the glass. Very nice style.
