We were visiting long time friends, and the evening's dessert was already tempting us. I wish you could have tasted it! This image hopefully conveys some of the fantastic taste of this chocolate dessert decadence.

Not a fan of food photography as around here, it doesn't usually look edible. But I think you've done well keeping out the color casts and getting it sharp enough for interest. The composition isn't the strongest, but it still looks good enough to eat.
Great reflection and great DOF, but the lighting (from the flash?) is a little harsh and I feel that the composition is a little bit awkward. I think it needs to be more off center or more perfectly centered.
