Took this during the DPC GTG at Rickett's Glen State Park this year, I know I had debated using this in a free study. Probably would've stood a better chance than in "Best of '08" but hopefully it will fare well.
Not a great deal of editing:
Auto Levels, Contrast, & Color to start
USM
High pass sharpening (layer mask over water)
Adjustment layers: Layers, Color Bal., Brightness/Contrast
I saved 2 different edits, where I made them darker (only working with PS7 here at the shop), then transferred them into Photomatix to create an hdr layer (layer masked over most of the image, it helped bring out the greens around the falls).
Increased canvas size to make the border
