Petronas Towers just before a rainstorm. Fisheye correction was done with RectFish software. Cloned out buildings on either side. To get this shot I held the camera against a street sign to steady it for the exposure. I think the slight movement is what give it the soft appearance. The blur at the bottom us a result of the fisheye correction. I actually like that blur as it gives an impression the towers are really stretching into the sky.

Love the perspective of this one, and the way the buildings lead up to the light. Maybe a little disorted at the bottom but its to be expected that wide.
It was an ongoing and seemingly never-ending war. Two interstellar civilizations, battling for reasons lost to time itself. Countless battles, countless loss of lives, countless invasions and surrenders and revolutions and destruction and devastation.
It might have continued into eternity, as well, had not one of the peoples developed it. That massive thing. A super-weapon to end all super-weapons. It was built in secrecy, and when it was finally complete, was unmasked to the awe and fear of all. Then on what they were calling EndDay, the massive thing lit up, charged up with energy untold, and released a beam of star obliterating power like nothing seen before, and though that beam shot through the universe and destroyed everything in its path and struck their enemies with the wrath of a million gods, it was not a victory.
For as it fired, the machine, the weapon, the end of all things, came apart in an explosive shockwave that wiped out the planet and people that had built it to be their savior, and the two warring peoples were no more.
I don't particularly like how the bottom of the buildings look blurry and hazy, but you have done a splendid job here giving the buildings a very powerful, almost electric look....
Oh WOW, almost unreal. Nice capture. I am not sure if I like POV that much. I would have like the same location with little far, not looking up. But just my opinion, great shot indeed. Good Luck.
Now a shot like this deserves great applause. Its the type of shot that you stare at for a while! Exposure and color is tip top, bottom of the buildings appear blurry, which only prevents this from being a perfect ten. (9)
