Big congrats on your first ribbon, Diane. Very creative shot.

Wonderful! I'm amazed that the apple didn't turn brown while you shot... even if you put lemon juice on it.

I am not sure I would see cooking in this one, but rather a great shot for a diet ad. Nice composition!

What a creative idea! Nicely executed :) I think it'd be a better weight loss/diet stock photo but an 8 none the less.

Creative idea! Great shot!

very nice idea, well executed, but not even remotely meeting challenge
Post actions
good idea...someone would buy this for a diet cookbook...

clever idea :-) the edge of the apple is a little straight above the zip, because a I presume you've put another piece of apple inside?

cute idea, lots of work, good composition, 10 points!

love this idea. but it's not really cooking in my opinion.

Great use of props. The lighting works well since you prevented any sharp reflections in the apple.

love the concept and very impressed at how real it looks

That is very clever. It is a nicely composed and exposed photo too.

How clever!!! :D By far my favorite, due mainly to the creativity of the shot
Post actions
Cool idea! I might have upped the saturation on the apple a bit.

I like the idea, well executed. Though I would have liked to not be able to see the tiny bit of red skin above the zipper.

You have WAY too much time on your hands :-) This is really a great concept and execution. Wouldn't be surprised to see it on the front page. The only distracting thing are the odd lines on the table surface. Maybe a touch more front lighting would have added a bit of depth.

wow relaly cool! how would that be done? ....

saw this very recently but the open zip revealed orange peel inside. Good luck - well done

This isn't a photo of cooking.

extremely well photoshopped and good idea. I think a nice red unspeckled apple would add to this
