This horse, Cabrio, isn't mine, but he's almost a twin to my horse who passed away this past August 2008. I'm dedicating this to my beautiful boy, the best subject I photographed in 2008.
They say timing is everything, so I thank my friend Ritad for getting me reinterested in photography last Dec '07 - just in enough time for me to capture images of my best friend ever who I still miss every day...that's him below:

lovely details in the horse - especially the veins - it does seem a bit close cropped and the fence below seems a bit unnatural (likely due to some over burning)
