Found this beautiful little harbour by mistake. Used my Sigma 10-20 and took 5 different exposures and combined them together using Photomatix then CS3, Levels and slightly sharpened.

Really interesting image - this is technically very intriguing; leaves me wondering what lens? was it software corrected? HDR? How many exposures? Was there a shift in focus between them to get an extended DOF?
Or am I overcomplicating the shot - whatever, it's a great result.
Hi,
Used a Sigma 10-20 lens with Nikon D300 on tripod. Took 5 different exposures. Used same aperture (F11) and bracketed 5 different raw images. 2 underexposed, 1 correct exposure, and 2 overexposures. Then loaded these images into Photomatix (HDR). After that levels and some sharpening. Thats it. I know HDR is not to everyones taste, but i love it.
Thanks for the nice comments.

theres a lot goin on here that causes your eye to dart around, but it contains wonderful color, texture, and light. When you have those, it almost doesn't matter what the picture contains.
