Not much time this week but a sunny day in a relative's garden foudn me scouring the flower beds for anything of interest. Found this dopey fly and shot a macro.
Something new = insect. Somewhere new = Great Aunt's garden.
Cropped, sharpened, dodged head and body of insect slightly, + 20 saturation and saved for web.

oh wow! You captured this very nicely! The clarity of the fly is awesome and the blurriness of the background is just as it should be. You did an excellent job here....
I thought you captured the details on the fly beautifully, right down to the irridescent colors but for some reason this shot just doesn't wow me. For that reason I gave it a five. I don't usually like to be vague but I think in this case it is just a matter of taste.
