This is my dad's 1956 Chevrolet 210. He finished it in October (2008) so we took it out for some pictures to a park at Lakeshore and Park Lawn in Toronto, Ontario. The original Sucked, but I think the end result it pretty good. I wouldn't call it my best of 2008, but it's the best one that I haven't already entered in a challenge. How will it do? meh... we'll see...

Totally under-appreciated image, SFH. This could be a print ad, maybe just a bit of fill for the left dark side of the car to define its' shape a but better. Fantastic location, love the cityscape in the bg.
Hmmm. I'm surprised. I really like this. I think part of it is the reflections and the light bouncing off the car. The scene behind the car is irrelevant to me as you did an amazing job with the car. Not sure how, but i'd really love to know how you did it. 9
Just a touch more light on the front of the car and I would have loved it, as it is I still really like it. I am a fan of using selective desat when done properly and I feel this one was done very nicely. Good job.
You just have to love this. The deep blood red against the gray of the city. I might've reduced the blue on the bumper a bit, but I love it. 55 or 56? I always have a hard time telling them apart. I'm leaning toward 56.
I really like this photo with one exception...the bright red on the left side. After a short while I realized that this is how the light fell on the car and it wasn't a background light, but I still think that if the lighting couldn't have been adjusted to eliminate the bright spot then I would have cloned it out. Otherwise, a really great shot and good use of selective desat.
