Boy, this was a tough challenge. I tried all sorts of things, but the thing that worked the best was closest. I ended up going down to the basement of my apartment building and exploring my super's domain. I got a number of interesting images, and this is one of my favorites.

Interesting subject. The texture isnt bad and the play of light and shadow is ok. I guess it could be considered abstract. Doesn't really do much for me, though, sorry.
I gave this a four. There just wasn't enough visual interest in this compostion to grab me. You had an interesting start with the folds of the hose but that one section in the middle just detracts from the
pleasingness of the design.
A bit uninteresting since there is nothing obvious to focus on. Maybe it would have been an improvement if the nozzle of the hose had been present in the pic just to get a natural subject.
