Yesterday, I took my granddaughter Abby (on the left) out to my sister's house to ride horses. The little girl in the middle is Abby's cousin, Temple. The big ol' horse of a dog, Shilo, is as gentle as a lamb, and absolutely ADORES Temple. And the feeling is quite mutual. She's happy to take a break from her snack of Skittles and juice to include Shilo in the gathering :)
Wonderful photo. I like the expressions of the kids and Shilo looks so sweet! Perhaps the (nice) light on the trees in the background makes this a little busy.
Wow Sandy! That's such a great moment to catch with Shilo & Temple reaching towards one another's faces. The expressions on all four of their faces is refreshingly peaceful.

Ahhhh , Sandy , nice to see you again :) This really speaks to me, not only cuz it's a wonderful image but because our yellow Lab , Zeke does this very thing when on the floor with kids (& adults). The thing between kids & Labs is so special to see, thank you for this image :)
As usual, Sandy, this is beautiful. A charming little moment with the kids, beautifully shot and processed. Sometime, I'd like to have a chat about how you do your post processing. There's a lot I could learn.
Oh what a sweet shot. I notice that the girls' eyes are obscured but Shilo's is not... you can see the gentleness you describe in his eye. I also notice her little hand, and it really adds to the shot for me.
Shilo may adore Temple - but you can see that Temple REALLY loves and cares about Shilo too. I get the feel that Temple has a gentle heart towards animals. Nice work bringing out the emotion in this image.
