I just wanted to show the same scene from a couple of hours earlier. I entered this shot in the free study as a last minute idea and was pleasantly surprised at the result. Thanks for viewing

for a literal interpretation of the challenge, I must say it is a really nice; decent balance and good interest. What sells it though is that beautiful blue and green skyline reflection. and the attempt at a deep purple tie-in.

Great photo... I think I would maybe have cropped to center the firework. This may have added more impact.
