Initally, because I favor nautical subject, I like this. But then I am disappointed that the tops are cut off and the picture seems a bit grainy... great capture of mirror image.
The composition of this photo is nice, but here are the problems I have with it. The highlights are blown out, and there appears to be some damage to the quality from compression. Was this cropped from a larger photograph? It might have looked better sized down a bit. The colour also feels a tad cool, but overall this would have been a much better photograph had the lighting been more ideal, and had the noise/pixelation been eliminated or minimized. Maybe try retaking this at another time of day :)
Unfortunately, some of the whites are a bit blown out and the image would have been more effective if we could haveseen the full reflections of the boats in the water.
This shot probably would have been better if you had had a better camera or a closer zoom...this obviously was not all your fault (i hope) so try to manipulate it for better results in an editing program.
I gave this a five. It is a nice composition and I like the reflections. It's a bit too contrasty (the lights are too light and the darks too dark). Much of the detail is washed out.
The left side is a bit dark, perhaps cut that part out of the photo. The colors are nice, especially in the reflection. I would try to back up and get the entire boat (with polls and all). Nice contrast.
First thing I notice is that most of the shot is out of focus. There is a lot of clutter with the masts and not a singluar focal point. The masts are also cropped out, likely due to you trying to get the reflection in as well. Changing to a portrait format and isolating one boat may have given you less clutter and more of the whole of the boat, else stepping back some (if possible) to get more of the scene, or zooming in to get less, such as the two hulls(?) and their reflections.
