taken in jpeg format, in my mother's garden with daylight.
it's a dry poinsettia red leaf (that looks usually like the petal of the flower). this flower is common in Madeira Island and is particularly used in Christmas arrangements.
this particular leaf was in photographed against the wall of our house, that is painted white but is textured. I liked it because of the red tint in the shadow but also its abstract look... I imagined it looked like a dinosaur, for example, ence the title.
most image processing was done in Adobe Lightroom. the main focus was to try to give a sepia look without taking away the red in the leaf.
