Still playing with the lensbaby. I'm finding it challenging to focus manually, because I need glasses for closeup work and even though I have my diopter adjusted I still can run into problems. For example, here the focus is on the wood behind Ojay, bah! Also it's hard with cats, because I need a free hand to get their attention but I have no free hand because I have to focus. And they keep moving. Sigh. It is a fun lens, though!
Processing:
Shadow/highlight
Orton effect
Create duotone version (yellowish) to add as layer set to 55% opacity (to tone down the color a bit)
Pimp eye (define pupil a bit more and highlight catchlight)
Levels adjustment to pump up mid and low tones
Crop
Overlay to add texture and color to edges
Nicely done. For me, a Lensbaby is easier to handle when you are holding the camera in landscape position. I tried a few portrait over the weekend, and had a hard time getting to the shutter button. Maybe with practice? 8(
