A ring, a book (To the Lighthouse, V. Woolf) and a lamp is all I used for this shot. The ring placed as shown and the lamp positioned so that it makes the best shadow on the open book pages.

This was my first dp challenge entry, and to be honest, I haven't had any great expectations. Been following for quite a while, but didn't dare to submit something on a challenge. :)

Wow! A ring that makes a heart! How original! All sarcasm aside, its a decent picture. Nothing to make it suck, but nothing to make it stand out of the 1000 pictures I've seen like this. Like Simon would say from American Idol... "Its forgettable" 5
