Cruising the river at night on my son's 60 ft sailboat. Lit only by light from the full moon rising in the BG. This was done with a monopod and 16mm manual fisheye lens. You can see my fingers on the right in the sky where I was shading the sky out for most of the 1.5 sec exposure using my hand. I used 2 sec self timer, which allowed me to hold the camera better with my right hand only.
Tungsten WB for the "night" looking color. PP= lighten a little, and a little highlights shadows, noise control.
This shot was featured on the back page of the local paper with a little about the full moon. Someone has already called wanting to buy a print. : )
This is a fascinating shot. The ripple outlines are fantastic, give this such depth, and the two light sources play off one another well, the boatlight and moonlight.
