Our sudden cold snap has had me concerned about the hummingbirds. One day I was having to thaw the feeder every couple of hours, and when I took it back out the first time I this little guy couldn't wait, so I had to stand and hold the feeder while he fueled up.
My biggest worry, though, is the other three that he won't share the feeder with. I hope somebody else nearby has one for them to use.
(No, I didn't edit out the background. I moved the feeder into the entry to the woodshed, out of the worst of the wind, and that's simply the dark interior.)
