Tried out about 10 ornaments and like the colors and textures on this best. Bought a used 50mm 1.4 and loved the bokeh here. At 1.4 they were nice circles but the image was way too soft. At f2 the image was better with the funky hexagon bokehs.

Talk about a bell curve! This strikes me as doing an excellent job of capturing the "Christmas Tree Mood". It is a shot to be absorbed and deserves much more than a quick glance.
Nice bokeh, the main object seems to be a OOF but you got great colors there! It's a shame this is another christmas photo, a diferent object with the lights behind would be great!
