The main purpose was to obtain the warm original lighting on the scene.
Photo was shot under very low light: only the christmas tree light on the background and a small candle on the foreground.
I used a very low shutter speed to avoid the bokeh's overexposure and used the widest possible aperture to obtain the highest blurred blackground.

Maybe if the scene had one star (Bethlehem star)in the composition of the buket it would have fitted in better with the scene and enhanced it. Don't know, but it might have been worth a try.
