I wanted to to get a picture of something falling this time. I found a feather and decided it would be a good subject (Little did I know how wildly feathers spin when you drop them). I really wanted this to be an outdoor shot because it had just snowed and I wanted to see what kind of contrast I could get between the feather and the backround. I chose a scene with a lot of trees and rocks to make it interesting. Unfortunately, with the amount of light I had available to me at the time I couldnt get a picture of the feather that wasnt blury. In the end, I just chose the picture that looked like it captured the most action during the feathers decent, then incresed the contrast and sharpened the image a little bit until I was satisfied with how clean it looked. This blackened out the backround almost entirely, but I think that it ended up better that way. I left just enough blur on the feather to make me feel like it was still in motion, but definetly looking suspended in its fall.
