 Thought it would be a fun idea, unfortunately didn't quite get what I wanted out of the picture, but hopefully comments will help.
Imported the RAW file in PSE5, adjusted levels, tone and unsharp mask.

Don't know how you got every piece looking like their sanding up on their own, but great job.
