This is a bowl I made at pottery class. I applied a whole lot of different coloured glazes (which made it very heavy).

interesting david that your bowl has a japanese/oriental feel in the design ... i mean i could just be imagining that coz i know you live there .. but i love that look .. :)
i'm wondering wot sort'v apples you get in japan .. my favourites are pink ladies, altho at the moment they're no good being summer .. the only ones edible right now are sundowners which arent that great either .. i wonder if you get fuji apples in japan ??.. you'd think so ..lol..!!
ok .. i thought i'd google fuji apples thinking that they'd just have to have some connection to japan .. about fuji apples .. i'm sure you were just dying to know all about fuji apples .. lol .!!. :)
edit to say .. they look a bit like fujis in your bowl actually .. :)
Pottery is heavy. Nice creatiation my niece is a potter and can appreciate your bowl..
Like your presentation - apples,bg drop cloth,and angle of bowl..
Also the lighting is good.. Well done.
