Good clear shot of flower - the the point of seeing the veins. Very god on details but the shadow on the front of the petal really distracts from it greatly.
I really like the depth of field here, and the idea in general, but would have liked to have seen something a little bit more "dramatic" , and not quite so bright. lhall
This is a very sweet macro. Lots of great detail! It might be a tad low in the interest catagory, but well worth a second look and a score upgrade from 7 to 8 Swash
I think a composition that was less centered would really make this a powerful picture. The simplicity of the colors and the capture of the detail is very well done.. karmat
I had to really study this shot. It's beautiful - focus and lighting are good - but something is missing. Perhaps one green leaf to distract the eye from the starkness? 6
expecially like the texture of the stalk and calyx, bit jaggy on flower petals. also, like the gradient color on bottom of pic-could this have been enhanced in background? think it would have added some drama to the composition. good shot!

the all-white background makes it look a little like it was cut and pasted, could use a shadow to place it, but that's just me. sweet macro, this is the reason they use a little flower as a symbol.
