2 Beautiful women helped me out here... One (obviously) pregnant and the other just recently had her beautiful daughter... In my head before the shooting, the baby was laying on the pregnant belly but in reality the baby is to long to do that so this is what we came up with. I am aware of the change I am taking with a baby picture but I really like this picture :o)

I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 6.
My first thought is that it is a beautiful image, and also cute. I really like that you chose to show this in black & white. It allows the viewer to better connect with the scene. The black background was a great choice as it is a nice contrast to the light skin tones. I love the thin line of rim light as well. My only criticism would be that the image could use a little more brightness overall. This might be a personal taste however. Great image.

Cute baby shot, but the stomach looks odd to me.. Kind of bland/lifeless, which I'm sure is not what you were going for at all. Maybe if the baby was laying on her stomach or something, instead of looking a little like he/she is headbutting her. The baby itself looks adorable though, especially that cute little face.
Of course I said "Aww" when I saw this. My only complaint is that I wish the baby was interacting with her tummy more. I mean, I can tell that maybe he's listening, but it kind of looks like he is not interested. I also wish the pregnant woman was holding the baby instead of someone else. Other than that, I think its a great photo. Lighting is great, B&W rocks. -8
Very nice photo. I wish there was a little more contrast and a little brighter, but good lighting overall. The nicely manicured fingernail distracts from the babies face.
