Christmas card time again! I used two industrial shop lights under the tree, an SB800 and a few house lamps to illuminate our otherwise difficult to shoot Christmas tree in order to capture this shot. In addition to two crazy kitties running around, a mirror on the ceiling and a wild five year old...I also had to contend with my absolute novice status with portrait taking. Happy Monday, indeed!

nice picture, very sweet young girl :-).
I have two comments, I think recomposing the picture to the rule of thirds, especially to remove the background wall would help to improve the picture.
Also trying to decrease the depth of field to blur the tree a little more would be nice.
