I shot this because I liked the light for the whatever challenge but it didn't come out as expected .... from the comments I realise I should have got in much closer and my focus is off on the central leaf! Someone suggest convert to b&w so what better way to start than to give it a go :) It still isn't the best as the shot wasn't the best to start with but I do think I prefer this over the colour version ...
This looks so great in b&w! The focus is on the light play and composition rather than the color, which was a bit distracting. Excellent choice! And happy to see you in this side challenge too :-)
I think I also like the b&w over the colour version. I think the b&w helps to give it the feeling of winter. I also like the lighting. The first thing I noticed was how nicely the leaves were lit! :)
