My Mother's dog followed me into the creek while I was taking pictures, realized it was freezing, and climbed onto this rock to save herself... then I took pictures of her instead of helping her...

Love it. The "freezing" part doesn't come across because it's a delightfully warm shot, but the "stranded" does. Those eyes, those ears, and the wonderful wide perspective - just too cool!
