No flame-red sunsets or sunrises here this week, but I was happy to have the good fortune to see this burst of radiance at the end of a working day. In another half hour or so it was dark out. This is an image I would have missed except for my trusty pocket camera, which was actually in my coat pocket ready and waiting.

This looks really similar to where I live (Colorado). These shots are really neat, but insanely difficult to keep your foreground illuminated without totally blowing out the skies. You did a good job keeping your clouds from getting blown out, but I would prefer if the foreground had a bit more of an adjustment from curves.
I really enjoy rays of sun shining like that in pics, and the mountains look great. It feels a little squished to me, like the ground and the clouds are going to merge. I'd like more space between the dark foreground and teh dark clouds.
