Something just seems not quite right... maybe it's the placement of the bird and the Sun that creates a conflict for the eye. Sorry... this just doesn't work for me. Not that it's a bad pic, just not outstanding.

Great luck getting the pelican just between yourself and the sun. For some reason the outline on the pelican's back looks a bit blurred. The colors from the sun look great.
