Finally, a crystal clear sky so I decided to capture the alignment of Venus, Jupiter, and the Crescent Moon. This capture needed a slightly longer exposure which turned the moon into a star. But the remainder of the sunset was still visible on the horizon which made this image really beautiful.

Didn't vote in this challenge, Jo but, I did go through all of the entries and figured this one might be yours! BEAUTIFUL shot and congrats on your finish!!! Your night shots are paying off!!! BTW...just how frozen were your fingers with this one?! *smile*
Oh Joanna! You NAILED it! I can't wait to see what you came up with for the Stars challenge. I think this one is a much-higher-deserving score than 6.3! It is breathtaking!
Love the rays from the crescent moon. Nicely captured and presented! A well earned 6+ score. You seem to have uped your game in the last few months. Congratulations!
This screams Jo to me but no matter how good I think the photo is, it doesn't make me think of a sunrise or a sunset. It will however, probably beat the socks off my obvious photo of a sunset.
