 Squid tentacles.
Light from below, colour is from red and blue pigments dilluted in water.
Editing is minimal, levels to bring up the contrast and a bit of sharpening.

I guess I should have twisted these :) to do better...though I knew when I submitted that it would not score so high, its too delicate and looses many details when resized this small.
I guess I expected a bit lower score actually!
