 A gorgeous sunset caused the sun's reflection to turn the skies a dark pink color, reflecting back on the dark lake. The reed silhouettes made this very interesting to me. Hope you enjoy it.

(Choosing a crop was a nightmare!!)

I feel that not having the tops of the weeds may have hurt this shot in voting. I have noticed that when I am looking thru the viewfinder that I make myself check for that. Plants just don't seem complete without seeing the tops of them. I like the curley leaves and the BG color in the water in this shot, and I understand what you saw in the scene.

Nice colours in the reflection, may be improved by slightly more water and slightly less reeds ... maybe not though!

Good execution with the silhouette on the water's edge, but I don't think the photo is terribly interesting. 5

I like the colours only wish the contrast was up a tad to make the reeds more of a silhouette and more punchy
