About two hours before sunset the sky was just about perfect and it looked to be a good one. By the time sunset came the clouds rolled in and it was dreary. Welcome to winter in the Midwest.
I knew my sensor needed to be cleaned, but now I realize it really needs to be cleaned after seeing the original of this!
The only thing missing from this photo is me and my boat. I love being out on Lake Erie when the sky and water blend together and have a sense of floating and complete solitude. Lake Michigan I presume. I grew up on Lake Michigan in Racine, WI. Not too many days like this, especially this time of year.
This has a nice relaxing feel to it ... I had some spots on my 40d sensor, I always have the auto clean on anyway but I went into the menu and forced it to do a self clean and that actually cleared them even though the auto one when the camera is switched on and off didn't! Good luck with the sensor clean!
