Selene, the goddess of the moon discovers Endymion sleeping. She immediately finds him incredibly beautiful.
*I took this series of photographs for my Greek and Roman mythology final project. We had to do a reinterpretation of any myth we wanted in any medium we wanted, so I chose photography*
The lighting setup was pretty intricate. I had one light where the moon is lighting Selene, I had a light with a softbox behind Selene lighting the valley behind the big rock on the right, a light with an umbrella on Endymion and another light as a fill light. It was quite a monster getting all the lights to go off at once because for some reason, my flash receivers didn't like to listen to my camera all the time, but I got it figured out and am very happy with the results.
