great close up, the bokeh in the background really isolates the bird. I think maybe it needs just a little more dof with a smaller aperture just to really make the bird jump out of the shot
I wish that shadow weren't half covering the focus of the image... the eye. I know this is VERY hard to control, but for Free Study, folks will expect perfection. Otherwise it's very good. (not voting yet)
