 The Malaysian way of Thanksgiving, Nasi Goreng means Fried Rice in Malay/Indonesian language. It’s a one-dish meal that can be served as breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rice used in making nasi goreng is cooked a few hours before to avoid sogginess. More frequent than not, left over rice from the day before is used to make good fried rice.

There are many variations of fried rice. The ingredients that are used to make fried rice could be pork, chicken, beef, vegetables, prawns, and eggs. The common seasonings used are soya sauce, dark soya sauce, and white pepper. Sometimes, chili, belacan (shrimp paste) and sesame oil are used depending on what type of nasi goreng you want to cook. As for garnishing, spring onion is commonly used. Occasionally, fried shallots or fried ginger could be the option.

Looks appetizing, but harsh lighting, probably your on-camera flash, hurts it.

I like the table, but the lighting isn't strong enough for it. Should have played with the food a little to have a stronger presentation. Maybe through some fresh vegetables (other than the cucumber slices)on or around it.

Love the tabletop, vey interesting bg, and the presentation is acceptable. But lower pov and killing your camera's flash, and using indirect lighting if possible, would've made a much stronger shot.

I think the lighting could be better on this to make it a really good image. As it is, it appears that the on-camera flash was used and it's flat and not as appetizing as it could be. But... that's my opinion, and everybody has one. *grin*

Aside from the food, looks flat and uninteresting mostly because of the flash. Centered comp doesn't help either.
