I'm a drummer, and many of my drumsticks have been pushed to their absolute limit. Photo was taken in camera raw and processed in CS3. Converted to grayscale and added anoter layer on it to get it extra funky. Then somehow I couldn't save in JPEG, so I had to print screen and open it in paint. But that got it even more funky, so I'm pleased with the result.

Sorry ... I'm not getting this at all. Maybe it's so far outside my experience I can't even figure out what you've photographed. My bad. It is a nice abstract ... a little heavy on the grain ... or maybe more grain would help. I'm discombulated.
Well, got the concept there but, the photo itself lacks some "ooomph". I wouldn't know it was a drumstick without the title. Not sure that there's anything that really could have improved this shot. I think that a different angle of shooting it might have helped?
