I think that the picture would have been better if the background was much lighter so that the knife did not fade into the background.

Oooh, clever! Can just make out the cut at the top, but carefull cutting should eliminate that. You could also drill a hole in some black card and push a bulb up though it and into the fruit.

Too bac we can see the cut our on the back of the kiwi. A lowe angle would have worked bett IMO. I'll give you an 8.
