This is Coco and we've had her for almost 13 years. She lost her lifemate, Barney, in 11/07. The look she is giving me here sums up the kind of regular sadness I've seen in her eyes since Barney's passing. I'm sure she took his presence for granted, just the way we humans do with the special people in our lives, and doesn't quite understand why he is not here any more. Although I am not really sure what she thinks about this change in life, I know I would love to hear about it.
