This was actually one of my favorites. I'm guessing it was rated lower than it should have been, for not meeting the challenge completely?

Viewmaster disk of... umm

I used to love those Viewmasters!

I actually know this one...It's a viewmaster reel! I loved these things when I was a kid!

Sure looks like a ViewMaster wheel, probably with the viewer in the background. Nice use of light and focus to bring out the color images in those tiny photos. I had one as a kid and still am fascinated by the 3-D effect.

Viewmaster! Not sure this goes under puzzle macro for me, but I do like this shot on it's own. Nice the way you put the machine with extra reels in the background, and this was a great use for the selective color (I'm usually not a fan of that type of processing).

Is this a disc from a Viewmaster? I didn't think they still existed!

Not exactly a stumper. Nice DOF.

I would say it is a disc from one of those gadgets that you look through and click to get a progression of different pictures. However the pictures don't seem to have a consistent orientation, so I'm probably way off.

Viewmaster slide!! OMG, and that's Quick Draw McGraw. Oh, lordy, I just admitted I'm almost as old as dirt ;-) At least my memory is still working.
Post actions
do they still make those. Click-click-click (view-finder)

Are these called "viewmasters"? Nice concept, composition and use of shallow DoF.

Nothing mysterious about this, but it is quite creative. Nice take.

Oh man, i can't remember the name of this thing. But its one of those things that you put into a viewfinder and you can see the pictures on. Very nice use of selective desaturation. :)

Great job getting the lighting just right on this.

Oh, come on. You were supposed to make this difficult to guess. Still, a pretty good shot of a Viewmaster™.

Great DoF use, and good exposure for the subject

Ah, an old viewmaster reel. I used to love those when I was a kid. Is that Quick Draw McGraw? LOL It's a really cool photo but I don't know if it's enough of a puzzle for this challenge.

Not so mysterious, but I give it great points for composition and nostalgia.
