Taylor decided that today was the day to clean her room. So she cranked up the Christmas tunes, closed the door, and went to it. So of course I had to stick my head in for some quick shots.
Cartesia wanted to be in the picture and Taylor wasn't too happy that she was on her bed. But it only took a minute before Taylor was trying to hold in a smile.
All the other shots were done with flash but on this one I didn't realize that it hadn't charged, so the light was from the overhead and especially the window off left. It was quite dark but I chose it because it was more natural. Also, Cartesia is learning how to lean into Taylor for these shots, although she hasn't quite mastered it yet.
A bit of sibling rivalry here by the look of it Ken. You have to let me in on your secret though - I have a son and three daughters........HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THEM TO CLEAN UP THEIR ROOM???? Mate if you should write a book on the process with step by step instructions - you'll make a fortune.
LOL, the expressions on their faces are priceless! My brother and I never had moments like this. (especially those moments when we decided on our own to clean our rooms!!!)
another beautiful portrait of your girls ken .. love the softness and their expressions and of course the way cartesia is leaning towards taylor like that .. i think cartesia would be bereft if her dad stopped taking her picture .. lol .. :)
