Picked up a woodburner pen from the local hobbie store and figured I'd whip out some hearts etched in wood. Three days later, and somewhat better at woodburning =), this is where I was forced to stop due to work on the house before the holidays..
Adjusted the hues, twice cropped, contrast adjustments, and sharpened.

I like how the grain of the wood lays on the composition. The hearts run off the edge nicely. I think I would have preferred more straight down view. A nice image.
