 The object is a panasonic autostop pencil sharpener. It has the pencil sharpener hole and the emptying bucket along with excess parts. The camera used was actually a Nikon Collpix L18, but DP does not have that choice under cameras.

An old boombox?

The flash at the top of the photo is a tad distracting. The subject doesn't have a whole lot of detail. The subject it's self just isn't all that exciting in my opinion.

No idea what this is. All those specks at the bottom make me think you are shooting through glass or plastic. Inside a car's headlight maybe?
