A spring made of stainless steel lying in a puddle full of rust.
Just something that caught my eye while walking through a shopyard in down town Reykjavik.

Sharper focus would improve most aspects of this shot, because the colors are pretty good, the title is interesting, and the spring gives the eye somewhere to rest.
NIce experiment. I think its time to go back to the drawing board though. This just quite does not make it. The patterns near the point of impact are too blurred by a fog of dust. The outlying patterns are great. The spring itself is so incongruous as an impacter, that another weapon ought to be considered.
Bad, bad pun. Was this shot underwater? The clouds of rust give this a very light, atmospheric feel - different than a lot of the pictures in this challenge. I like it.
Very cool textures from the water, good composition, its a bit low on contrast, mabey you found that was better than more contrast, dont know, anyway, good luck :)
