for me this is too studio looking and the contents of the pot are uninteresting

That's some rusty stuff! I like the rust background. You've met the challenge well.

amazing, color, lighting ... everything is just amazing

Overall, the lighting is quite nice. However, I would like to have seen some very subtle light coming from the right somewhere to avoid making the shadows so heavy.

This is so perfect it hurts...it very nicely set up.

Very warm shot, nice lighting

Better than average still life for this challenge. I think a little more differentation between the milk can and the background would help. 7

How did you get such a harmony of color? Magnificent.

Sharp image, perfect (to me!) lighting, and a subject that's interesting at numerous parts of the image. Very well done - I enjoyed this one!

I really like this image. The warm colors, the framing...it's just a great shot! Hope it places well.

beautiful colors, and nice composistion. Even though some people may say the object is too old, it really works here perfectly

This is definately one of this week's best in my opinion. I like the fact that the picture contains actual rust and also objects that are rust colored... including the background. Great composition and lighting as well.

Cool old milk can. Love the lighting. Nice work.

Very nice lighting on this and well composed. Good one!

Very nice colors and lighting. The fact that the tallest and brightest object in the upper right is cut off is distracting as it leads you out of your image.
Post actions
this picture will be one of the top three finals.

everything in this pic is almost the same color, I can't tell if anything is really rusty, or you just made it look rust color with lighting or editing, but nice composition

Almost too much. I like the lighting (contrast) and the composition.

Technically this is excellent--love the lighting. Think the composition suffers a little--perhaps cropping more from the right would balance this.
Post actions
The background seems to be too close/similar in color to the can and the nuts. Otherwise, very sharp, nicely composed phot that draws my eye in first to the nuts, then down to the handle.
Post actions
I do not care for the deep shadows (but that is a matter of taste). Nicely composed with wonderful textures everywhere.
