I love the harsh contrast and, of course, the angle. Both figures' eyes are deep in shadow which leaves a lot to the imagination. Great textures in the skin.
The strong light really suits these two. Interesting too, because usually the tell the story, but here they are darkened but the wrinkles on their face keep the connection.
