Challenge: Smoke II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II
Location: My living room, Sydney Australia
Date: Nov 4, 2008
Date Uploaded: Nov 4, 2008

I know that this is so uninspired, but I just couldn't achieve what I had in mind, and I needed to get something in for my team.

I hope that I won't be marked down too harshly for the 100s of other smoke and matches shots that are bound to be entered, because I actually kinda like this in the end.

Also, I know that the match itself isn't quite in focus, but it was the best I could do with the time on hand. C'est la vie!

would have been better without the Grey part at the bottom, nonetheless, great work!

It's not the most exciting subject, but it's very well done.

I really like the smoke in this pic. It's so different from everyone elses. It isn't so thick. It is just kind of soothing. Also, great crop!.

Nice shot, try the flash from the side to light up the smoke some more
